VHO - 24 July, at the Sky Expo Vietnam International Convention and Exhibition Center (Quang Trung Software City, Ho Chi Minh City), the Opening Ceremony of Vietnam Ad & Fun Week 2025 and EMA Vietnam 2025 officially took place.

The event is jointly hosted by the Vietnam Advertising Association and the Department of Grassroots Culture, Family and Libraries under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and organized by Dong Nam Advertising and Commercial Promotion JSC in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association.

In her welcoming remarks, Ms. Ninh Thi Thu Huong emphasized:
“Amid the continuous development of the country, Vietnam’s cultural industries are steadily rising to become a new pillar of the economy. Beyond preserving and promoting traditional cultural values, cultural industries also provide fertile ground for innovation, technology application and international integration.”
She noted that the Prime Minister’s issuance of Directive No. 30 dated August 29, 2024 on the development of Vietnam’s cultural industries marked an important milestone, reflecting the Government’s strategic vision in building a modern cultural industry ecosystem driven by technology, digital transformation and innovation.
Within this broader landscape, the advertising industry has emerged as one of the country’s key creative industries, serving not only as a communication and marketing channel but also as a powerful medium for promoting Vietnam’s image, identity and aspirations to the world.
“Vietnam Ad & Fun Week 2025 is a particularly meaningful event. It is not only part of the activities implementing the Cultural Development Strategy to 2030, but also an opportunity for businesses, experts and creators to connect, exchange ideas and foster the advertising industry toward professionalism, modernization, digitalization and global integration,” Ms. Huong stated.
Held from July 22–26 in Ho Chi Minh City, the event gathers nearly 300 delegates, including representatives from ministries, local authorities, associations, experts, enterprises, educational institutions and media agencies from Vietnam and overseas.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dao, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Advertising Association and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Advertising Association, said that Vietnam Ad & Fun Week 2025 features a wide range of activities including specialized exhibitions, sports tournaments, conferences, competitions, job fairs, and cultural-culinary programs. The event serves as a platform for business networking, technology showcase and professional exchange among companies in advertising, media and entertainment industries.
Within the framework of the event, from July 24–26, the 15th Vietnam International Exhibition of Advertising Equipment and Technology – VietAd 2025, and Vietnam Smart Display 2025 are being held simultaneously.
